Resolutions on Entertaining: The Powder Room

Over the holidays we host a series of annual get-togethers with family and friends. Every year I figure out a small improvement to make for the next year. Last year I made a more welcoming seating area to greet the first guests and configured some space saving table decorations. 

This post in Apartment Therapy on How to Prep your Bathroom for Company has made me rethink my powder room arrangement for next year.

 

Adding a faux floral arrangement would be an easy-to-care-for addition.   

 

Updating our bathroom hardware could definitely enrich the setting.

 

A more thoughtful display of candles would be nice. A platter of these chestnut scented candles might be the perfect seasonal accent.
